Young Peter is born into a world at the mercy of his drunken mother's many lovers. His like takes a horrible turn when, one night, he wakes to find one in his bed. Things become worse as he gets older and finds himself a slave to his horrible past. Through fairy-tale-like-narration, this dark animated short film takes us through the life of a man who is as much the victim of fate as he is the perpetrator. The Incredibly Short Life of Peter Panties delves into a theme that touches many but few talk about; the cycle of sexual abuse. The film looks at this subject from a unique point of view, void of the bias that a local news station or police report may project. Through Peter's eye's, we unapologetically blindside social unease and attempt to reach an understanding of how one individual could end up this way, and how it could eventually affect others. Ultimately, the film opens dialogue and conversation about a subject so normally swept under the rug.
