Lynn Hollister is a country lawyer sent to the big city to investigate the murder of a friend. It all revolves around a nightclub called The Inferno and a gambling ring. Run by corrupt politician Tom Cemeron who uses it to get votes. Hollister’s friend was murdered because he was going to expose the operation. It gets complicated when he falls in love with Cameron’s daughter.
